Zoo Keeper Volunteers care for large and smaller animals in the outdoor areas known as Farm and Hoof Run. Minimum shift is 2 hours. Outside work is physical, and volunteers can choose moderately to considerably demanding. Clean exhibits, bag hay and prepare enrichment.

Description

Open all year, 7 days a week. Home to more than 400 animals and 120 species including guest favorites: lions, playful otters and penguins. Visitors enjoy exotic and colorful habitats, plus lush gardens and educational exhibits. Establish in 1934, the Pueblo Zoo features some of the best examples of local historic architecture and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
