Volunteer tutors needed for adult and/or children learners.
Adults participate in basic education, GED readiness, driver's license
test review and preparing for job interviews.
Children are tutored after school, summers and in-school from September
through March each year.
Additional classes include English as a Second Language, TOEFL and
Spanish classes.

Our Mission is to strengthen our community by providing literacy instruction to individuals and families.


We are a non profit, volunteer based organization that offers free instruction in basic literacy, GED, ESL, Alabama High School Graduation Exam, and ASVAB. We also distribute books and family literacy information to all babies born at our local hospital.
