MOXI is looking for a Lead volunteer for our Toddler Tuesday program! Do you have a background in early childhood development and want to give back to this amazing community? Looking to build your resume? This program might be the right fit for you!

This program runs weekly from 10am-12 noon every Tuesday and incorporates additional programming and story time to the museum floor. It is a minimum of a 4-hour per week position (2 hours for planning and activity building, and 2 hours of Toddler Tuesday implementation). This is a volunteer run program and this position would spearhead the implementation of new activities and special programming on the museum floor while also overseeing the volunteer team in place. Organization and management of program materials as well as monitoring materials for replenishment would be necessary. You would work in conjunction with the MOXI education team to explore new ideas, develop and implement activities for our five weekly themes and collaborate to execute the best Toddler program possible!

Requirements:

-Experience in early childhood education including familiarity with 1-5 year olds

-Comfortable taking a leadership role and managing a small team

-Strong communication skills

-Availability on Tuesdays from 9:30 am-12:30pm

-Creative thinker

-Passion for giving back in an educational setting
