We welcome you to join us on our May 4-6: Weekend at beautiful Camp Krem in the Santa Cruz Mountains! We will head up on Friday late afternoon and stay 2 nights for a weekend of fun and adventure!
We'll soak up the sunshine, go hiking and enjoy lots of time outside enjoying the fresh spring air. Our Campers and Volunteer Counselors will help plant flowers, work on the garden in prep for spring but will also have a great time creating with of arts & crafts, music, singing and dancing!
Volunteers must be 18+, be mature, patient and have a good sense of humor. Must be able to assist with children and adults with disabilities, assisting as a team member with responsibilities ie., helping with supervision, personal care, meal prep and enjoying a wide variety of recreational activities.

We will pick up volunteer in Oakland and/or Campbell California. Or, if you choose to drive to Camp Krem, we will provide information about meeting times.

Description
Camping Unlimited (founded in 1957) provides children and adults with developmental disabilities opportunities for recreational & educational programs throughout the entire year. Participants of all ages and disabilities (including Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Prader-Willi Syndrome, visual and hearing impairments and other physical /emotional challenges) enjoy a wide variety of respite weekends, overnight adventures, day trips, residential summer camp sessions and extended travel camps. The community-based events extend throughout Northern California's San Francisco Bay area and also includes Santa Cruz County and beyond.
