Interlock Media Inc. is seeking an off-duty professional Project Administrator to manage our short-term project on public health in the film industry. Objectives include: recruit and manage small team of off-duty professionals; coordinate and schedule various stages of project; oversee research, design, marketing interns and ensure all project deadlines are met. Candidates must will also assist with development work and administrative duties related to the project.

About the project: This project will consist of a film and audio series focusing on health and wellness in the film industry -- specifically on the unique medical and mental health issues pertaining to the film/television/media workers, and intriguing new technology to assist in a delivery of quality healthcare to those on film sets.

Schedule : Minimum of 25 hr/wk, full time (40 hr/wk) preferred

Compensation : Unpaid/Apprentice

Location : Convenient to public transportation and Kendall Square

Job Type : Volunteer; non-profit. 3-month commitment

Experience:

We require excellent communication skills, a pro-active attitude, and organizational acumen. Excellent leadership skills are required, as well as experience managing a team and an exposure to the film and/or non-profit industries. Must be able to succeed in a small film crew-like environment, where initiative is valued and independent thinking is a must. Individuals must be able to collaborate on all project goals and meet numerous deadlines.

Description

Interns participate in all aspects of film and media production, including: research writing coordination of crews participation in shoots participation in film editing scriptwriting production of print materials any task that may arise

Salary: None Qualifications:

Interns must have strong communication skills, a desire to learn, and a pro-active attitude. The following skills and experience are preferred, but not required: superior writings skills technical ability computer skills (mac platform) experience with camera, lighting, or other gear.
