SOLVE It For Earth Day - Frenchman's Bar Park Riverside Cleanup

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Clark County Parks

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 1 person is interested

At this event we will celebrate Earth Day by partnering with SOLVE for a beach cleanup at Frenchman's Bar Park (please see link to map to park above). We will work on picking up litter from throughout the park, along the banks of the Columbia River, and at Blurock Landing. These efforts will help prevent trash from entering the Pacific Ocean.

We will be participating in a statewide survey. We will need small groups to conduct these surveys once collection begins to make its way back to our meeting place. Please indicate below if you would like to assist with this survey. ***Training may be required prior to the event.***

You should wear weather-appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, long pants, and closed toe shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle. We will supply gloves and garbage bags, but if you have gloves feel free to bring them.

We will provide light snacks and water.

If you (or anyone in your group) are under the age of 18, a parental consent form must be signed. Please copy and paste this URL into your browser to access the form: http://bit.ly/2rKuETd Please fill out, and bring this with you to the event.

If you have any questions please contact the Clark County Public Works Volunteer Assistant, Dora Hernandez, at 360-397-2285 ext. 1679 or dora.hernandez@clark.wa.gov.
