As we have for many years, Green Mobility Network is hosting a free Bike Valet for the Deering Seafood Festival on 25 March 2018. We will need volunteers for setup (8:00 AM to noon), valet (noon to 4:00 PM), & take-down (4:00 to 8:00 PM). If you need the hours, sign up for 2 shifts. When you reply, please advise what shift you want and a phone number where you can be reached. Put your name in early to be sure you get the shift you want. We rack & watch peoples bikes so they can visit the Deering Seafood Festival. We will be on the north side of SW 168 St., just west of SW 72 Av. Activites include: 1. Constructing the enclosure, setting up the racks & tent. 2. Bike Valet - we put a ticket on the right handlebar of the customers bike and give them the corresponding coupon; then they are guided to the racker who helps them put their bikes on the racks. 3. When the customer shows us their coupon we match it with the ticket on the right handlebar and return their bike to them. 3. At the end of the festival we take everything down & pack it up. Please bring any school form you need for your volunteer hours to be recorded to the festival. Do your part for the environment, help people out, get volunteer hours, & join our happy band as we encouge people to bike to the Deering Seafood Festival!
Please contact Eric Tullberg at 305-255-2594 or e341@bellsouth.net before 5 PM today to sign up.

About Green Mobility Network

Mission Statement
Green Mobility Network promotes bicycling, walking, and public transit as attractive choices for daily transportation and recreation. Our vision is a healthier, more livable Miami-Dade with safer streets for all.
Description
We encourage bicycling, running, and walking for their own sake and for the increased personal health and community livability they can foster. We have made big strides raising the visibility of bicycling and the responsiveness of local government to both bicycle and pedestrian issues. Many of our volunteers report their hours for public service credit at their schools, and some keep coming back to help even after their obligations are filled. That's true public spirit, and we salute it.
