Our main center of activity and foot traffic is our Front Office lobby. Yours will be the face of Gospel Rescue Mission to our donors and volunteers, as well as our Recovery Students. An ideal candidate is a Christian who's been through some tough times, so they are compassionate but with boundaries enough to be firm when responding to clients. Fast learners are needed, and someone who can assist with loads of up to 50 pounds.
If you can volunteer 2 to 5 hours once or twice a week, and love a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you!

Description
Gospel Rescue Mission operates a homeless shelter for men and a shelter for women and women with children. In addition to providing emergency needs to the homeless population, both shelters operate long term residential recovery and education programs. These programs include: drug and alcohol recovery and relapse prevention; academic education; computer literacy; counseling; job readiness; and life skills training. We also provide food boxes, clothing,and household items to needy Tucson residents.
