Hey there!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Glendale Arts’ Special Events. We are excited for you to join our team!
The 17th Annual TASTE WALK Glendale is on Wednesday, May 2nd from 5:30-8:30pm and we need your help! Taste Walk Glendale, formally The Taste of Downtown Glendale, offers the best of Downtown Glendale, all at once. Guests explore the Downtown area at their own pace stopping at over 40 restaurants, wine & beer stations, music "stages," and a VIP area.
Volunteers can assist in any of the following areas: Greeting/Signing In, Set Up/Tear Down, event ambassadors, and street team. We offer fun perks like a free T-Shirt, meal wristband, Letters of Recommendation, and volunteer/school credits.
Volunteers can working before and during and after the event in a variety of capacities and will be able to get a wristband to eat and enjoy the festival after they are relieved of their duties.
Possible Shifts Include but are not limited to:
Set Up & Event Ambassador: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Event Ambassador & Take Down: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Each year we rely upon our community to help make this a successful event. Thank you for your time and efforts! We look forward to hearing from you.
Proceeds benefit Glendale Arts and the Alex Theatre. Glendale Arts will designate a portion of the proceeds to support the YWCA Glendale’s Camp Y Summer Youth Program.

About the Alex Theatre:
Since 1925, the Alex Theatre has been a Los Angeles area landmark and continues to serve as a top entertainment destination for the entire Los Angeles basin. The Alex has served many purposes over its 90 year history including that of a top Vaudeville theatre, movie palace, and now a world-class performing arts center.
