Dear Community Member, Our Family Coalition's Programs Team is already gearing up for June 2018 Pride season, and OFC needs your help! Every year we host a Family Garden for hundreds of LGBTQ families in Civic Center Plaza during San Francisco Pride, as well as organizing our own marching contingent for the parade. As you can imagine, this event is a massive undertaking, and we rely on a crew of dedicated volunteers to pull it off. Volunteers help us with set up, running activities, and clean up at the Family Garden, or assist with preregistering families for the garden and passing out swag along the parade route. If you would like to volunteer at the Pride Parade or the Family Garden on Sunday, June 24th, please contact Jeannette Page, SF Family Programs Coordinator at jeannette@ourfamily.org or 415-981-1960 x309. Please include your name, phone number, email address and if you want to help with the parade or the garden. I will add you to my list and will send out more information as event details are confirmed. Do you want to help us plan this incredible event? Join OFC's SF Pride Planning Committee! Currently we meet once every few weeks to work on various items, including: volunteer coordination, event activities, logistics, and outreach. Meetings will be more frequent as we get closer to June, and committee members must be willing to do some work between meetings.
