Mission: Empowering Older Adults to Live Independently

Our program helps older adults remain actively involved in the community by providing transportation, friendly phone calls and visits, minor home safety repairs and a meaningful social network of support. In return, members receiving service, give of their time, gifts or talent to help support our program and ask for help when needed. Through this unique culture of service exchange, we are indeed neighbors helping neighbors.

Our Mission is to empower older adults to remain independent in their own homes. Through our service exchange concept, we recognize and utilize the unique gifts and talents of older adults, enabling them to contribute to the community in meaningful ways and to the well-being of each other.

Description

Partners In Care is designed to create community by linking adults 50 years or older, with neighbors who volunteer their time to help with transportation, member care, and handyman services. All participants may provide services, receive services, or both.

Our programs support individuals and families, relieve stress on caregivers, reduce hospital admissions, delay nursing home placements, and provide critical services to the community.
