Adopt -a- Garden
Welcome Garden

Alta Vista Botanical Gardens invites community members to partner with us in the Adopt-a-Garden Program. Individuals or groups can visit on a day and time that fits their schedule. They rake, weed, prune, and water, keeping the garden beautiful for public viewing.

Adopt-a-Gardners can choose select a special garden area to maintain and develop. We provide garden tools and any needed botanical education and training.

Gardeners are offered free admission to the garden, an invitation to our Cheers celebration.

The Gardens are a living, changing and interactive environment bringing together people, nature and art. It serves as a gathering place, an educational center, a forum for the arts and an exhibit of the most remarkable, beautiful and rare plants in the world.

Our garden themes include Australian, Jungle, Culinary and Medicinal Herb, Desert, Rare Fruit Forest, and the Labyrinth.
