Students in our after-school Computing Career Corps program have been learning about various topics including computer programming, software engineering, robotics, 3D printing and app development once a week since January. We are looking to enhance their learning with a career talk from CS/IT professionals in the Columbus area. Each class of students will be broken into 3 groups (roughly 5-10 students per group) and will rotate to the 3 volunteers who will be visiting that day. There will be 2 instructors and a site coordinator in the room as well to help facilitate. You will have 20 minutes with each group of students. We ask that you share what you do with the students and leave at least 5 minutes for questions.
You may volunteer for just one evening or as many as 4 evenings! Dates available are May 15th, 16th, 17th, and 21st. Locations vary. For more details, contact Marci at mhowdyshell@techcorps.org
