the Power of Flowers Project is seeking flexible, licensed volunteer drivers to drive our van to pick up flower donations in a 15 mile radius of our workshop on the Tewksbury Hospital Campus in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
Drivers would be "on call" for designated days and will need to be available to pick up flowers as needed during that time period and deliver them to the Power of Flowers Workshop.
Skills required:
licensed driver
able to lift 20 pounds
able to use a cell phone / GPS

Mission Statement
The Power of Flowers Project is a volunteer 501 C3 organization dedicated to resuing and recycling flowers, arranging them into individual bouquets and delivering them at no charge to people in need of an unexpected moment of joy or a ray of hope.
Description
The project has delivered over 75,000 bouquets to people in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice care, soup kitchens, veterans homes and other venues. We serve over 100 facilities in the Greater Lowell/Merrimack Valley region as well as Southern NH.
