Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
El Paso County, Colorado

Community Based Mentoring: Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to 12) in the communities of El Paso County, and a free to choose or create activities based upon their mutual interests.

Volunteers commit to the match for a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times each month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors, offering suggestions, counsel and assistance.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and up-to-date auto insurance, and be able to pass an extensive background check.

This is our traditional program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for.

Right now, Big Brothers Big Sisters Pikes Peak is in need of male volunteers to be mentors to youth in and around Colorado Springs. Currently, we have several young boys (Little Brothers) waiting to be matched with a mentor (Big Brother). Please consider volunteering! Please spread the word.

Being a Big Brother or Big Sister means being a special friend and role model to a child through a one-to-one caring and consistent relationship. Programs are flexible to accommodate a variety of schedules.
