The majority of our Hospice Volunteers provide compassionate care/companionship for patients with life-limiting illnesses and respite care for their loved ones. Other volunteers provide bereavement support to loved ones after death of the patient. We also have volunteers who support us in the office and for special events/ fundraising. To be a Patient Care or Bereavement Support Volunteer, a 24-hour training course is provided.
