We are skilled nursing facility looking for dedicated individuals to provide volunteer companionship to the residents in our community. We are interested in person(s) who are willing to provide friendly visits on a consistent basis. Various activities and tasks would include social chats, storytelling, walks in the garden, pet visits, spiritual support, playing table/card games, or aiding in residents enjoying other various past-times such as crafts, music, or just companionship throughout the day. We would appreciate that you are able to at least be available for 1-2 hours per visit. Interested candidates must exhibit a passion for the senior population and/or those with dementia/Alzheimer's. We want to ensure that we are always providing the best care and assisting with providing our residents with an optimum quality of life. Volunteer opportunities are available 7 days/week at various hours as we are a 24-7 facility. Interested persons must be at least 18 years of age.
