Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
El Paso County, Colorado
Community Based Mentoring: Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 - 12) in El Paso County, Colorado. The match is free to choose activities based upon their own mutual interests. Volunteers are asked to spend time with their mentee two to four times a month, and commit to a minimum of one year. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff support the mentors and their match by providing suggestions, insight, advice, counsel and assistance.
Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license with up-to-date auto insurance, and be able to pass an extensive background check.
This is our traditional mentoring program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for.
Right now, Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak is in need of male volunteers to be Big Brothers to youth are enrolled with us but waiting to be matched. Please consider volunteering to change the life of a young boy for the better!

Being a Big Brother or Big Sister means being a special friend and role model to a child through a one-to-one caring and consistent relationship. Programs are flexible to accommodate a variety of schedules.
