Help our team at the 2018 Taste of the Cowboys, held at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco! One of our biggest fundraisers of the year, this event will feature past and present Dallas Cowboys players, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, live entertainment, and gourmet tailgate food stations from North Texas’ hottest restaurants and chefs.
All proceeds will provide critical funds to support the nutritional needs of the one in 4 children in North Texas who is food insecure.
Shift Hours: 3:30-10:30 p.m.
Duties: Duties will be assigned upon arrival and tasks could include:
- Guest check-in
- Crowd control
- Silent auction support
- Touchpad roamers
- Chef station helper
- Offering food to guests
- Clean up and tear down
We are looking for volunteers who are ready to be on their feet and interact with excited guests! Individuals, couples and groups are welcome to sign up.
Age Requirement: All volunteers must be 21 years of age or older.
Commitment: Out of respect for all volunteers, pleasearrive on time, be flexible with assignments, and stay until dismissal. The more organized we are, the easier the event will run. Thanks!

Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a Dallas nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of more than 262 Food Assistance Partners in 13 counties. As a member of Feeding America, we support the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through education, advocacy and strategic partnerships.
We strive to be the best nonprofit. Including access provided through SNAP application services, NTFB provides access to nearly 175,000 nutritious meals every day. ReThink Hunger is our three-year initiative to provide healthier food, develop new ways to extend our reach and improve the lives of those we serve.
