SHARP needs temporary fosters for puppies and dogs found abandoned or in need in Polk County, TN. SHARP covers all medical and care costs for fostering these dogs. Volunteers provide a safe, secure, and loving environment for each dog until they are adopted. We currently have three fosters and this is simply not enough for all the homeless dogs located in this area. Please help us if you can!

Mission Statement
The mission of SHARP, a 501(c) 3 is to assist dogs and cats in need and promote spay/neuter surgeries in Polk County, TN.
Description
As the only nonprofit animal welfare organization in Polk County, TN, SHARP fosters homeless dogs and cats until they are adopted. All animals are fully vetted including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and heartworm/tick and flea prevention before adoption. To reduce the number of stray dogs and cats in this area, SHARP provides low cost spay/neuter surgeries to low-income residents. We depend on donations, grants, and fundraising events to cover the vet and foster costs.
