Read to Kids at our new Liberty Station StoryTent located in front of the SD comic Art Gallery.
Help kids fall in love with reading! Join us for story time at the StoryTent at the SD Comic Art Gallery on the 1st Friday of every month until July. Kids read out loud to volunteers and earn book bucks for each book read. The bucks can be used to buy prizes!

Anyone is welcome to come check us out for the first time without any paperwork, so simply pick a date/location that works best for you and I can go ahead and reserve it for you! Description
We are looking for volunteers to read with kids at our StoryTents, located throughout San Diego County. Kids earn Book Bucks for reading with volunteers, which they can redeem for prizes! We need volunteers for Imperial Beach, National City, El Cajon, Santee, and City Heights. Each shift lasts 2-3 hours and each program runs weekly. We ask volunteers to commit a minimum of 2 hours per month. Small stipend available for StoryTent Captains, who run the StoryTents each week.
