While common in some New England states, Canada windflower (Anemone canadensis) is rare in others.

Are you concerned about the future of our New England landscapes and wildlife? Volunteer with the New England Wild Flower Society, the country’s oldest plant conservation organization. Volunteers are needed at Nasami Farm (Whately, MA) to help clean the seeds of rare, native New England plants. Seeds are cleaned and counted by hand. Required skills are the ability to sit at a microscope, reasonably good manual dexterity, and a good sense of humor. Training is provided onsite.
