Are you crafty? Do you have a skill you wish to share? Are you good at teaching other adults? The Delaware branch is looking to host a beginner level crafting workshop, and we'd love your help! Topics can include anything from cross stitch to embroidery to scrapbooking to quilting. We provide the materials, the students, and the space, and you bring your enthusiasm and skills! Come help your neighbors learn new skills while having fun!

Description
The Albany Public Library consists of 7 branches in the City School District; Washington, North Albany, Bach, Arbor Hill, Pine Hills, Howe, and Delaware. You can visit the 7 branches for books and DVDs, music and magazines, classes and workshops, computers and Wi-Fi, tutoring and tax assistance, arts activities and technology programs, study spaces and meeting rooms, movie showings and musical performances, book clubs and author talks, and so much more. Volunteering is vital to the health of the library and the community by providing much needed support to the youth and adults who rely on library services. Volunteers gain the skills and knowledge to help with their professional career and personal life. Student volunteers gain community service credit and valuable job experience.
