Volunteer at the Peru Conservation Project in the spectacular Manu Biosphere. Manu is a major biodiversity hotspot located in the Amazon River Basin, and in 1987 the reserve was classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take part in serious conservation work in the heart of the rainforest and have an experience in the Peruvian Amazon that you will never forget.
This programme allows you to make a real difference working with the project staff. You can gain new skills and learn all about the conservation efforts to protect the rainforest and its wealth of flora and fauna.
You don’t need to have a science or conservation background to join this project, however, as you will learn everything you will need to know (and more!) from the experienced project staff through training sessions, orientation events, and expert talks and debates. We can also cater for students who are looking to do a volunteer placement as a university requirement.
