Service Dogs, Inc. in Dripping Springs, is seriously seeking fosters for our dogs. Training to be a Service Dog is hard work. Our dogs would love to have a weekend away from the kennels. This would give them some down time. They could just kick back and have fun, before they return to their jobs (training). This is a win-win situation for all of us. The dogs let their hair down, and you give us input on how they are in homes. This is a valuable piece of information needed to insure our dogs are well-rounded and up for the task of helping someone with a disability when the training is complete.
It is a perfect situation for the fosters, as well. If you do not feel you have the full time to devote to a dog, but love the idea of having a dog temporarily, borrow one of ours for the weekend, like a library book with a cold nose.
Please take a minute, consider helping one of our marvelous dogs.
