ORGANIZATION: American Cancer Society

  • 1 person is interested

The American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program utilizes volunteers to transport cancer patients to and from their treatment appointments. As a Road to Recovery Volunteer Coordinator, your role would include connecting local drivers to the rides requested in your community. This can be done from home as long as you have access to a phone and the internet. Another expectation would be that you would also help with recruiting more volunteer drivers in the community. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity and works well for both working or retired individuals.
