The American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program utilizes volunteer drivers to transport cancer patients to and from their treatment appointments. As a Road to Recovery volunteer coordinator, your responsibilities would include helping to schedule local drivers with the rides that are needed. This can be done at home as long as you have access to a phone and the internet. Another expectation would be that you would also help in recruiting more volunteer drivers locally. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity and is great for both working or retired individuals.
