Nebraska Community Blood Bank is the Born and Raced in Nebraska (BRIN) Running Series Charity of Choice! This means we provide a group of wonderful volunteers to help the race run smoothly and BRIN helps to raise awareness and funds to support blood donation.
The second race in the BRIN series, Cornfield Cornfield, is coming up on Saturday, June 13 at Werner Park in Papillion. Many runners have fun with the theme and dress up as farmers or even ears of corn! You can join in by choosing from two fun volunteer positions:
- Water Station 3: Volunteers are out on the race course, handing off water cups to thirsty runners and cheering them on. (6:30-9:30 AM)
- Race Day Packet Pickup: Volunteers help runners get ready for the race by handing out t-shirts and numbered bibs. (5:45-8:00 AM)
All volunteers will receive an NCBB shirt and entrance to the after party! To formally sign up, please complete the waiver online.

Nebraska Community Blood Bank, a Division of Innovative Blood Resources, has been saving lives in our communities since 1968 as an independent nonprofit. Driven by our mission, we are dedicated to connecting people who need life-saving blood with generous volunteers who give. We provide a stable supply of blood and blood components to healthcare facilities in six counties throughout southeast Nebraska.
