B~STEM Project (www.bstemproject.org) is looking for a UX / UI design professional to volunteer their time and expertise. We would like to create a prototype of our online community. The online community is geared towards educating and empowering young girls and women in business and STEM disciplines across industries. The goal is to present the online community project to our sponsors and donors to garner their financial support.

We would need you to ... - Gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with organization
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and/or sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how site function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to organization
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

We have a professional who has volunteered to translate the designs to online.
The skills we would like are ... - Professional experience doing UI/UX design work
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
- Knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
