The American Red Cross is looking for people who are interested in running blood drives and donating blood to sign up for shifts throughout the year. You would be able to sign up for your own shifts in the county and would go to the locations that have blood drives set up. This is a chance to donate small bits of time that add up to your participation as a Red Cross volunteer.
You are not responsible for collecting the blood but instead are a greeter who talks with people who are donating and handle medical files when checking in and out. Overall, this is a very social position.

If you're interested in building resiliency in your community against local hazards (house fires, snowstorms, rainstorms, etc.), we have many volunteer opportunities to get involved.
