The Children’s Leukemia Research Association, Inc. (CLRA) was founded in 1965 to support research efforts towards finding the causes and cure for Leukemia. CLRA has been helping Americans for over 50 years.

The CLRA is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

All our work is funded by voluntary donations from generous and caring Americans who are joining us to bring an end to this insidious disease. We have two main programs:

(1) Each year, CLRA's Medical Advisory Committee, consisting of prominent internationally known and respected hematologists, reviews submitted research proposals from doctors nationwide. The Committee then awards grants to medical professionals based upon their research proposals on advancing the treatment of leukemia.

(2) Our Co-Pay Assistance Programs help with leukemia-related medical bills that are listed under our Covered Treatments and Services. Upon approval of each claim, payment will be made to the patient, guardian or medical provider. CLRA awards up to $1500 to leukemia patients experiencing financial burden.

We are now looking for entry level Phone Bank Fundraisers to volunteer on behalf of our organization. We have openings for the month of April at our office in Garden City.

Those with experience in telephonic fundraising will be given consideration APPLY TODAY !!

The available positions are flexible and include full-time & part-time hours from Monday-Friday. Students are welcome.

• Have skills using MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience using Vonage and Skype (preferred)
• Organized and able to track calls and donations
• This position requires you to actively engage with donors over the phone and potentially attending fundraising events
