The volunteer placement offered at Kawempe Youth Centre (KYC) is aimed at enhancing the informational, educational and recreational needs of children and youth in the community.
This opportunity is for both local and international persons to voluntarily exploit their skills, knowledge and expertise to create a positive impact for themselves, the organization and the community at large.
This is a great platform for volunteers to enhance their work experience, to create strong and enduring networks and to enjoy the diversities that come with the various social, economic and religious practices in Uganda.
KYC shall be able to provide orientation, moral support and individuals to help with translation (where necessary) during the activities.
It should be noted that KYC shall notprovide any financial support during the volunteers' stay.
