The CGS Programming Contest is TeamsCode's first Oregon event. We need volunteers, preferably with a little experience in computer science (not much), who can help judge for this event. If you are interested in specific judging instructions, please check out this one-page Google Doc.

The competition runs from 9AM-3PM, and you must be there the entire time. In the morning (9AM-11PM), we go over judging instructions and have a general opening to the event. The contest goes from approximately 11:30PM-2:30PM, and the event ends with the awards ceremony.

You can find more info about the contest at teamscode.com. Please email me at chris@teamscode.com if you have any questions!

Mission Statement

TeamsCode strives to provide valuable experience to high schoolers pursuing careers in the computer science industry.

Description

TeamsCode is a student-run 501(c)(3) non-profit that works to encourage high school students to study computer science. We work with the Computer Science Teacher's Association and other sponsors to create awesome programming contests with free snacks, pizza, medals, and prizes!

In addition to organizing programming contests, TeamsCode builds online programming lessons in order to prepare students for the AP Computer Science A exam. We create a selection of programming problems, giving students early experience with complex data structures and algorithms.
