Healthy Kids Day

Volunteer on Saturday, April 21st, and help us host our annual Y Healthy Kids Day community event, sponsored by McCormick's Flavor for Life. Healthy Kids Day is a great opportunity for families to come out for fun games and activities, like a bounce house, obstacle course, face painting, sports stations, make & take healthy snacks, crafts and more! Y Healthy Kids Day is a free community event!

There are a range of volunteer opportunities to support the day including the following:

* Event Setup/Breakdown
* Assist with the climbing wall
* Distribute shirts
* Help with arts and crafts
* Monitor the moonbounce and obstacle course
* Help with event registration

Open to all, our programs support three core focus areas of Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. Operate at hundreds of Y sites and community locations throughout Central Maryland we impact hundreds of thousands of community members. Through grant funded programs and Y Financial Assistance scholarships made possible through generous community donations, thousands of youth who are financially vulnerable and their families are given the same fair chance to thrive in school and in life that each of us needs and deserves.
