Cornerstone Assistance Network wants to place a Special Events and Marketing Coordinator VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) at Transformance.

Pay: $1,025 per month BEFORE taxes

The Career Ladder Advancing Single Parents (CLASP) pilot project will develop and test a leveraged collective impact approach to moving single parents from poverty to an entry point on a career path that can lead to economic wellbeing and personal satisfaction. The objective will be to provide credentialing training to 100 project clients to qualify them for nationally-recognized credentialing in warehouse logistics, to place them in entry level logistics positions with one of three partnering employers, and for a minimum of 75 to be retained in employment with at least six months with support for progress on a career ladder that can lead to economic self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Use your oral and written skills to plan and coordinate public relations initiatives in order to foster a favorable public image of the organization
• Develop and circulate new marketing materials (such as newsletters, brochures, website, etc.) to potential partners
• Use your social media skills to expand community engagement in Transformance programs
• Coordinate special events in order to strengthen the donor base and the volunteer base
