Community Resources’ Academic Mentors Project creates opportunities for high achieving, ambitious 5th to 11th grade Denver Public School students who have an interest in a particular topic to connect with community volunteers who share the same passion. The program is currently recruiting an electrical engineer to work with an 8th grade male student. Volunteers are asked to commit a total of six hours over the course of 3 to 6 meetings.
