Assist City staff and commissions with various aspects and tasks to prepare for and present various City-wide events throughout the year. Some of these events include Sports Field Day, Color Dash, State of the City, Arbor Day Celebration, and other large and small public events. Tasks vary by event.
Examples of tasks:
- Cut, compile, collate, gather and sort various items needed for events the week prior to each event
- On event day, assist with set-up before event, greet event-goers, assist with event activities, and clean-up after event end
- After event day, help sort and put away event supplies
Time commitment: Varies as needed based on the specific event. 3-5 hours prior to event; 2-6 hours on event day. Most events are held on weekday evenings or weekends.
