History Colorado is looking for a volunteer to assist with the development of a new intranet home page for the organization. The goal of the intranet project is to improve internal communication and staff access to agency documents and procedures. The Intranet Development Volunteer will take on the exciting project of creating an engaging and easy to use home page in line with the style and culture of History Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity to assist a great non-profit organization as well as help to make a vital impact on organizational growth.

Interested volunteers should be detail oriented, comfortable with visual design, and have knowledge of Google apps (Forms, Drive, and Sites). The volunteer will be asked to generate new graphics - based on existing HCC website graphics - that fit the Google Site parameters, so experience with graphic design is recommended. This is an incredible opportunity to make a huge difference from inside an important Colorado cultural institution.

Desired Schedule: Minimum of 1-2 shifts per week, 4-6 hours per shift (any time between 9 AM - 5 PM Monday - Friday). This project is estimated to last 2 - 4 months.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Google applications

• Comfortable with computers
• Experience with graphic design
• Must be organized, attentive to details, and able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to communicate in a friendly, clear and professional manner
