The Armed Services YMCA San Diego (ASYSD) provides programming support to active duty military and their families in the San Diego area. Each year, we host our Annual ASYSD Golf Classic fundraising tournament, and we need volunteers to help with the event. This year's event is Friday, 26 March 2021.

Volunteers must be 18 years old or older.

We need volunteers in the following areas:

Event Set-up and Transition

Volunteers needed for setting up tables, canopies; checking in golfers; supporting a putting contest; upselling of merchandise; setting up auction items, raffle tickets, and other miscellaneous tasks. We need a total of 5 volunteers.

Shift is 8 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Hole-in-One Observers

Volunteers will be stationed along the course and act as official witnesses for our hole-in-one contest. If a golfer hits a hole-in-one, the volunteers will be required to sign an affidavit attesting to the fact that they witnessed the event. We need 9 volunteers on two shifts:

11 a.m. - End of tournament, approximately 4:30 p.m.
