Adaptive Programs of Corona

The City of Corona's Adaptive Recreation Program is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist during our variety of recreational, educational, social and creative activities for those 16 years and older with developmental disabilities.
Minimum commitment of 5 hours a month. Programs are held on a monthly basis at the Corona Public Library and the Circle City Center.

Duties can include:

  • Program set-up and breakdown
  • Equipment handling
  • Clerical duties
  • Program assistance

Volunteer Orientation required. All volunteers will undergo a full background check, including Live Scan, paid for by the City of Corona.

Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.

Opportunities to volunteer with Recreation Services in Corona are increasing, and include working at the Senior Center and various other public facilities. We are grateful for our community members who are committed to working with residents to keep them moving and healthy in both mind and body.
