We are offering an exciting hands-on opportunity to join us in the planning of Barktoberfest 2019! This will be our 5th year for Barktoberfest and it keeps getting bigger and better! Barktoberfest is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we need your help! We are looking for several local adult volunteers to help with the planning and execution. Some of the positions available are marketing, running a raffle booth, coordinating volunteers, coordinating food vendors, photography, etc. There are numerous opportunities available and you may sign up for one or as many as you like! The committee meets once a month at a home in Tracy and those meetings increase as we get closer to the event. This year we anticipate Barktoberfest to be held on October 19, 2019 at Lincoln Park in Tracy. This is a family friendly, dog friendly, annual fundraising event! Planning Committee members should be age 21 and above. Thank you and hope to hear from you!
If we don't get enough volunteers to make this a successful event, Barktoberfest will not be held.

To rescue and nurture companion animals with the mission of finding them safe and happy adoptive homes. We strive to create community awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering to avoid overpopulation and reduce the community euthanasia rate.
A Brief History
Animal Rescue of Tracy was founded in 1994 to meet an increasing need for compassionate care for abandoned or mistreated pets. In 2002, Animal Rescue of Tracy became a full-fledged, independent, non-profit rescue. In our existence we have rescued, spayed/neutered, and found homes for more than 2,000 cats and dogs. We rescue animals from the local shelter and work with the public in select abandonment situations.
