Are you looking to be a part of a dynamic office team?
Capital Caring's Ballston office is looking for administrative volunteers, who have a keen eye for detail, professional phone manner, focus on team work, who can also complete projects independently after initial instruction.
The office is open Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Ideally, we would like you to commit to 1 or 2 days per week for 4-6 hours, or more if you have the time and availability. There is flexibility if that is what you need!
Volunteers will be working with the Medical Records team to help keep up with the demand of record keeping, filing, scanning and electronic categorization; answering incoming phone calls from hospice and palliative patients and family members; field calls from other medical professionals; work on long-term projects as needed.
The office team is a combination of paid staff and other volunteers. This is an urgent need for our organization at this time, so if you are the type of person who is looking to help a non-profit where you are needed most, this volunteer opportunity will fulfill that desire.
How do you get started? Email Amylyn Verrone at averrone@capitalcaring.org or click on the "I want to help" button!
