DemocracyLab is optimizing the connection between tech-centric volunteers and tech-for-good project.

The UI/UX Designer volunteer position will research and design experiences to help users meet their goals in-line with DemocracyLab's mission and vision. Much like an early-stage startup, there is an emphasis on building process infrastructure for the organization's long-term growth plans. We are a group of volunteer self-starters working autonomously at our own time and our own pace and are looking for similar candidates that share our passion for DemocracyLab's vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review relevant research performed by DemocracyLab related to design tasks
• Create designs using Sketch or other design programs
• Create prototypes using InVision, Figma, or similar programs
• Conduct usability tests
• Upload final designs to Figma or other developer handoff tools
