Building a new school garden

Join Washington Green Schools and the Arbor Heights community to enhance their school garden. The project will involve creating a wheelchair accessible garden area, planting a sensory garden, transplanting shrubs, and weeding and mulching around garden beds. Tools and garden gloves will be provided.

Project background: The newly refurbished elementary school opened September 2016. Two years ago, students from Ms. Ingerslev's 3rd grade class designed their dream garden for their new campus. On March 31st, we are going to bring their vision to life. We'll be working side-by-side student, parent, and teacher volunteers.
