Our April Insiders will showcase NOVA WONDERS, a six-episode primetime series which follows researchers who are pushing the boundaries of understanding and tackling some of the biggest questions about life and the cosmos in ways that could transform our world and the future. Each episode poses a single big scientific question, including the secret language of animals, what’s hidden in the human body, artificial intelligence technologies, the controversial power to engineer life in a lab, and the mysteries of the universe. Guests will preview selections from this fascinating new series and then host an in-dept discussion featuring Senior Executive Producer is Paula S. Apsell, Julia Cort, Executive Producer of NOVA Wonders, Rana el Kaliouby, NOVA WONDERS co-hosts and an accomplished computer scientist who develops emotion recognition technology used in artificial intelligence, and a a few other experts featured in the series. A dessert reception and tours of the studios will follow the presentation.
Position/Shift:
Registration using an iPad (6:30-9pm)
Food Host (6:45-9:30pm)
Greeter (6:30-9pm)
Usher/Mic Holder (6:30-9pm)
Photographer (7-9pm)

Description

GBH productions are seen and heard across the United States and Canada. In fact, we produce more of the PBS prime-time and Web lineup than any other station. Home video and podcasts, teaching tools for schools and home-schooling, services for people with hearing or vision impairments...we're always looking for new ways to serve the community!
