About this Volunteer Opportunity:
On Friday, April 27 - We need Volunteers for Event and Route set-up from around 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
On Saturday, April 28 - We will need Volunteers as early as (yes) 5:30 a.m. (but we will have coffee for you) until about Noon or 1 p.m. Volunteer tasks range from checking walkers in, giving out shirts, manning tents, directing vendors, etc. We appreciate those Volunteers that can come for the whole time but also welcome those who can only come and help for part of the time.
Volunteers should be 16+ but children can volunteer alongside their parent or legal guardian.

About Great Strides:
For 30 years, Great Strides - the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fundraising event - has supported the Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis and raise awareness for this rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that makes it difficult to breathe and shortens lives.
Great Strides provides a fantastic opportunity for family, friends, students, and colleagues to come together and make a difference in the lives of people with CF. The event harnesses the power of people with a shared vision and encourages collaboration, team building, and leadership, as we collectively take steps to find a cure.

Mission Statement
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. We fund more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support.
