About

The Classroom Volunteer assists Instructors and other Team Members in providing appropriate classroom support, working with rising K through 6th graders individually or in small groups to reinforce the hands-on STEM learning.

The volunteer assists participants who may need additional guidance with tasks, while being a positive mentor and role model. Being aware of group dynamics and appropriate de-escalation techniques to diffuse escalating behaviors ensures team members and participants alike have the best Camp Invention experience possible.

Camp Invention is the only nationally recognized, non-profit summer enrichment program for kindergarteners through 6th graders that is inspired by the greatest innovators around-the Inductees of the National Inventors Hall of Fame(r). At Camp Invention children are empowered to have big ideas while they take on STEM-based challenges that inspire them to question, brainstorm, collaborate with teammates, and build invention prototypes.

If you have any questions or need additional help, please contact me! I'll be happy to walk you through the process. We're looking forward to a great summer!
