Thank you for expressing an interest in volunteering for the Special Olympics 2018 Inland Empire Regional Bocce Competition. Don't miss your chance to become one of our volunteers needed to create a transformative experience for our athletes who will compete in bocce. Here's what we need help with:

Bocce Official
-Must be 18 years old.To be an official we would like you to have extended experience in the sport of Bocce. Officials will be responsible for making calls and keeping control of each game. If you are interested in this position, please contact Mimi directly at mwright@sosc.org
Bocce Line Judge - Must be 14 years old.Your main job will be to help the head referee/official as needed. Other responsibilities will include: Helping athletes get the right color tag on their uniform, making sure there are no more than two players from a team at the end of the court, and monitoring the foul line. Training and instructions will be given on the day of.

Bocce Score/Time Keeper -- Must be 14 years old. This position entails keeping score for games/matches, or timing duration of the game. This position may include standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

Set-up/Tear Down Crews - Must be 14 years old. These volunteers will be asked to assist the venue manager and SOSC staff in the preparation and/or cleanup of the venue for the day.

Medical - Must be 18 years old and at a minimum, certified in First Aid and CPR. The volunteer should be comfortable and confident in a medical situation.
