Family/Couple Match Program: Do you have a spouse or partner you want to share an amazing experience with? Do you have children you want to teach the importance of volunteering? Then look no further, and mentor together! You and your family will be interviewed about your goals, passions, and preferences so we can find the child who is the "perfect match" for you. Then, include your Little Brother or Little Sister on your normal outings, PLUS our exclusive match opportunities! (Check out a few at: http://www.thinkbigaz.org/events/all) Through this experience, you'll enrich the life of your Little, yourself, and everyone you love!
-------
This volunteer opportunity is fun and flexible. Mentors ("Bigs") get matched to mentees ("Littles") who have similar interests and live in their area. Bigs choose when, where, and what activities they do, which makes it really convenient for even the busiest of schedules.

Description
Big Brothers Big Sisters is the leading youth mentoring agency. We create fun, friendship, and inspiration. Mentors are matched to local children based on common interests and preferences. You will meet for 4 or more hours/month in one of these programs:
1.) COMMUNITY BASED - Meet with your Little to do activities you both enjoy. Go hiking, bowling, to the library or park. You choose the days and times that you meet, according to your schedule!
2.) SITE BASED - Visit a local elementary school to meet with your Little for one hour per week during lunch. Spend time at recess, playing board games, or doing crafts!
3.) COUPLE/FAMILY - Invite your significant other and/or children to mentor a child together, for at least 4 hours/month. Invite the child to spend time with you during your normal family outings!
4.) Young Professionals Council - Young Professionals Council is a group of volunteers committed to helping shape Arizona youth through supporting and creating initiatives throughout the community. Gain board and leadership experience, networking opportunities, and a chance to advance the work of one of the Valley's most established nonprofits.
