The Lincoln Park Conservancy is a nonprofit that partners with the Chicago Park District to identify, preserve, and enhance the natural, historical, and cultural assets Lincoln Park.

We will host our 18th Annual Earth Day at North Pond Nature Sanctuary on April 21st and, for the first time, have afternoon volunteer opportunities for those volunteers that cannot make the morning shift. Our main event will start at 10am and run until 12pm, but we will also host an additional session from 12:30pm to 2:30pm for anyone that couldn't make the 10am spot.

Tasks include: park cleanup, mulching around park trees, painting park benches and fences, planting and seeding native wildflowers and grasses, and more! Please plan for the weather (it's rain or shine) and wear closed toed-shoes and full-length pants.

If you are planning to bring a group, minors, or specifically want to attend the afternoon shift, please contact Aaron Hammond at (773) 883-PARK or to coordinate.

Please RSVP in advance!

All minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian or have a signed waiver.
